How to choose the server?

Is there a method for choosing servers mentioned in the rulebook? Why do IND and JP take so long to decide?

both teams have to play the entire dark souls trilogy and whoever finishes first gets to choose the server

Yes, left click ur ping and select the server

from what i understand the rulebook said sg servers

but india asked to play on hk since it was closer in ping

japan was fine with it but they still had to talk to admins

admins took forever and then we don't know what happened and then the game was played on sg

enc admins are bad who could have guessed

It's up to event organiser but team can ask/agree to play on a server. There are rule like africa they mention they suggest to flew to cape town. I'm not sure I think there's a defaut server sg for se, hk for asia, cape africa

5.4.2 Server Selection
5.4.2.1 Default Servers

Unless otherwise specified, the matches will be played on the following servers:

• Asia: Hong Kong
• SEA & Oceania: Singapore

The Tournament Administration may, at its sole discretion, modify the server location a
match is played on. In the event of such a change, the Tournament Administration will notify
all Teams at the earliest convenience.

5.4.2.2 Server Change by Mutual Agreement
Teams may mutually agree to compete on an alternative server, provided that both teams
clearly communicate and confirm this agreement with the Tournament Officials prior to the
start of the match. In the absence of such an agreement, Tournament Officials will
determine the server that offers the fairest conditions for both teams, or default to the
designated regional server.
