one factor that i think is very underrated, aside from their chemistry, long-term friendship, raw aim, and understanding of the game, is how alecks communicates with the team.
contrary to the popular belief that teams benefit more from a kinder and mentally-friendly coaching style, i think alecks being very harsh actually takes a lot of pressure off the game. by the time prx steps onto the server, they've already dealt with most of the stress during practice and reviews, which allows them to play more freely and genuinely enjoy the game.
alecks also isn't really a middle-ground type of coach. and its not like he's mean all the time, he's actually nice to them outside the game. he is just fully aggressive in how he communicates. he is direct and openly confrontational. compared to people who communicates like nAts that comes across as more passive-aggressive, never makes faces (as in expression), and rarely raises their voice.
what do yall think
