Cloud has only been an IGL for a little bit (well it's boutta be a few seasons now but whatever), he doesn't HAVE to IGL at all
i know he's an ini player and play that without igling, but knowing how fnc operate, unless they're also getting sevire i think this is likely cloud switching to smokes and igling. it would be a huge gamble but that's the only option fnc have rn. they needed big changes to have a chance to go to shanghai
idk if ur joking but if cloud is igling boaster's ass is getting launched off the team, he's going to retire after this year anyway and they're probably making him pull an fns and retire mid season
Cloud is a mediocre caller. When GX peaked last year it wasn't thanks to him calling particularly well but because of their defensive protocols and set plays for the most part. As much as the boaster hate train is funny Boaster is still 10000 times the caller Cloud will ever be
this might be a split 1 2025 nrg thing where boaster teaches cloud how to igl and then passes the reins like fns did to ethan

FNS didn't teach anything to Ethan, Bonkar did. And Bonkar is 10000 times better than 0nghh as a coach

anyways being an above average caller is no longer enough to compensate for how poor of a player boaster is

But yes I think Boaster should retire at the end of the year, espcially if they can't make champs. It'd be good for him especially psychologically

i’m not saying he’s the only reason ethan improved at calling but being around a good caller surely had something to do with it
you can disagree with me if you want but all i’m saying is that hopefully boaster can do something similar (concept wise) with cloud
why would Fnatic need another recon player, Crashies is all they need right now. I mean I'm not even against it I just don't understand the move. It's also so weird from GX to let him go, there aren't many relevant recon IGLs in EMEA
him and Iluri are the only relevant ones yea, and Iluri is just as much of a bot as Boaster individually. Sickrey is quite good tho, idk how well he would translate to T1 honestly but I think he would be GX's first choice there
