i think their problem is rarga unironically
they comm in english when 4/5 would be able to speak chinese and make a lot of obvious errors and their rotates are so slow its stuff where youre like "why didnt they comm that" or "how did he not do x" when you watch them.
sorry i know i make baits usually and im not supposed to talk about anything in depth about a team

there’s no chinese duelist that would want to join xlg atp, you could make an argument for like juicy but he’s ass
I feel like most CN duelist would want to join xlg, they are the most consistent CN team other than EDG
most cn duelists are paid so much and are integrated into their team

who else in the league is better than rarga? if they wanted a replacement that spoke chinese you’ll have to grab like someone from t2
rarga carried this team for like 3 years, hes allowed to have an off form split or two
and he vanishes at lans main point for imports is to increase there teams level of play at internationals otherwise there is no point they can easily be good in china without him i mean duelist is the most easily replaceable role at worst you just run in and make space and die traded
also WsLeo, he was good on that Lotus defense but for the other 1 1/2 maps he just does weird things and dogs for information they already know how is he playing initiator
XLG plays too much like EMEA/Americas team. It would excel in china, but when facing those teams at internationals EMEA/Americas teams very used to it. XLG needs more originality like the triple senti comp.
