its not like other players who have played for 5 different teams under different systems and failed, this was half of a vct year
He's a yoru one trick that wasnt even a top 3 yoru in vct. What do u think happens when yoru gets nerfed, well ig we already saw. In a game where the meta changes constantly, what makes u think a one trick can make it work
he tried playing other agents and the passion wasn't there, imo its what could've been because Yoru was great for like 2 years before Eggster went pro
Yes and what happened when he tried playing other agents? The third worst rated player with a 0.02 rating above an assistant coach and Victor who subbed in for Sentinels for 1 game. He's a one trick that cant play anything else besides yoru. And he wasn't even the best yoru. Also, lets not act like he was insane before the yoru nerfs. He has always been meh
What time? Give him more time to prep other agents? Why should a team make that gamble when he hasnt even proven himself yet? Some people only have their prime for a year or 2, so why would they waste it by giving some guy more time to try different agents out. Why not just get a player that can actually play different agents instead? There is a reason why a one-trick never worked and never will. He was a meh player on his one-trick and turned into a complete sh*t player once his agent got nerfed.
You're simply ignoring the argument. You cannot make a conclusion when there is not enough evidence. Eggsterr consistently performed in VCL because he was comfortable with his team and his agent. Rankers did not play the meta, and yet they managed to win almost all of their games. Although T2 and T1 are clearly not the same, today's game against MIBR indicates that perhaps meta picks are overrated. Your argument that a 1-trick is terrible because of meta shifts is simply hard to support, and your claim that Eggsterr is terrible because of his poor performance in a new environment is naive. Eggsterr has shown that he has plenty of talent before, and you simply cannot say that he is terrible when he is playing in a environment that is not conducive to his success. ENVY's current roster lacks chemistry; Eggsterr and Poppin alluded to it in their post-match interview and their live comms support the idea. Ultimately, Eggsterr likely would've been able to perform quite well with the original Ranker's core in VCT, but we can never know for certain.
Yes like u said T2 and T1 are completely different, T2 is child's play compared to T1. Even in this game against MIBR (26-4) on his comfort yoru pick he underperformed. There is a reason why there is no other one-trick in vct and the only one-trick was completely useless after his agent got nerfed. Would a team really risk signing a player for 1 agent specifically just for it to get nerfed a month later and be completely useless? One-tricking in vct is simply not viable. Keep in mind he was playing a very busted agent. Like I said before, why would a team risk giving him more time to try other agents? There's 4 other players on the team that are gambling their time in vct away for someone to try other agents. There's a reason why roster moves happen almost every week. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. U don't have time to make such huge gambles like 'but what if our yoru one trick is actually insane on other agents if we give him 6 more months'. Best is to replace him with someone that can actually play other agents, even if you have the best chemistry
