no, u play 6 rounds, if you win 4 you win, if its 3-3 the next OT starts, u can win with 19-17 aswell
no. OT is played 3 rounds on each side, you have to win the bo6 so for example in first OT the one who gets 19 points wins the game, if it ends 18-18 the process is repeated
I understand now , so if 30-30 the process continue, if 31-29, a team win right
OT in cs is 6 rounds 3 on each half and first to 4. if it ends 3-3 it goes another 6 rounds until there is a winner
I don't know but sometime I feel CS match take so long to completed and tbh its really exhausted to watch
Fair, but Valorant needs something different, we gotta find a way to differentiate the games.
it is, they were played in val too, it's confusing because in matches they are usually with odd numbers. bo2 can end in a draw and then its repeated
Honestly? I respect Riot's decision to make games end sooner versus always producing the best team winning. I'm glad Counter-Strike exists and I hope it never changes, but I prefer Valorant's overtime system.
I will say, however, since Valorant games produce the best team less often, it is more important to have double-elimination than in CS.
