Besides leaf who stopped being the main duelist after 2024 kickoff they've all been worse on G2 than on previous teams
Sayaplayer - garbage on NA T1. On The Guard, diffed prime yay several times, made his first int, had a career best split.
Tex - garbage on NRG, chamber one trick, seen as a downgrade to Saya. On the Guard he was the statistical best tier 2 NA duelist as the year progressed.
Leaf - only had 1 split on duelist, def played marginally worse than on C9 but only bc they placed worse, not cuz he himself performed badly.
Icy - tier 3 player to diffing some great players internationally like Jinggg and Kang Kang. That was the best he’s ever looked in his entire career.
Jawgemo - had some of the worst performances in his career on 2024 EG. Statistically, he sat around a 0.9 rating in 2024. In 2025, he had the best bo5 performance of his career in Bangkok, maybe even better than his Champs 23 performance. His overall stats improved significantly from 2023-2024 to 2025.
G2 literally sends jawgemo to die alone on site. The way his team plays is bad for his stats i can't lie.

“Always” if we went round by round, you could do that for literally any duelist. It’s not something that consistently happens. The only thing consistent that happens with jawgemo is his underperformances.
If you actually watched that round instead of perpetuating narratives, you would notice that Kingg viper mollies the choke and Neon omen flashes the choke, so the team can’t scale. They scale as soon as those two pieces of utility are gone. What you fail to mention is that trent throws two dogs and an eye and valyn walls so jaw had plenty of resources to entry there. What happens after is the funny part, jaw just sits in a Phoenix molly and dies. Come up with a way to blame the rest of G2 for that death.

i hate hate hate the narratives people create to evaluate players, if somebody isn't a star player you can't call them a bad player without a million "b-b-b-b-ut he creates space!!! hes being baited" "hes a support player!11!!" "stop stat watching" (often from somebody who doesnt actually watch the game and has just decided their viewpoint and will create any story to back it)
