bait what exactly? is he supposed to know there was a harbor running into that smoke? he sees them walking mid and satchels to reposition because of a possible smoke/util spam on a tricky angle, he even aims back to cove because he wants to hold it afterwards. zekken tries to take smoke and even he gets surprised valyn is there (he kinda whiffs a little but thats okay because he was probably not expecting it at all because no one would expect valyn just insta running to that smoke lol)
