cuz of aspas' hype surrounding him and everyone going "brooooo this guy is the goat" teams pick up on that and want to play with him, his stats are obviously fine but he's very much not a team player and val is a team game at the end of the day

there's a REASON nrg picked up 3 rookies last year and won, they were all top tier 2 talent but didnt get picked up because people saw other players and just grandfathered them in
aspas is a good stats player but theres a reason why he hasn't won anything since 2022, every team he's been on has tons of talent on it, there's definitely correlation here. it's not to say he hasn't performed stats wise either like i said, just that he cant play w teams properly.
asuna could definitely win if he was picked up or surrounded by a better team or a team that works w him better
again it goes back to NRG being able to win by picking up good team-based players instead of grandfathering people in like teams do w aspas
