am i wrong for thinking ascension and being able to play in t1 and receive riot funding is way better than a small chance to make champions for t2
also we dont get ascension for the gap between champs and a new season anymore

Not really.T2 orgs are living off social media baits.
Piss poor salary & no stability.
Well its good for the team that ascended but its better overall for most tier 2 teams if they have the chance to make champs instead
1-2 teams get ascended get to play in t1
2 teams have the chance to make champs

Champs is a much bigger tournament than ascension and gives a lot more exposure and chance to earn money
its not just champs compared to ascension though its champs compared to ascension and a year in t1
franchising is being reworked so there simply can't be an ascension tournament
they will pbb have some kind of a permanent system that allows team to be promoted and relegated between T1 and T2 at all times, or have a system where T2 teams can play more frequently in the same tournaments so no I don't think we will have Ascensions anymore

yea I agree, that's more interesting tournaments to watch as well for us unemployed folks
I think the main push for champs this year for T2 orgs is that they get a piece of the pie from the juicy champs skin sales
