This is speculation and tbh literally no evidence to back up a word of what i'm about to say but do you think it has to do with money? genuinely can't think of any other reason besides the org wanting to cut costs or like a verno punched fns meme.

this is a good read
me too
also "substance abuse" = hard drugs? I can't believe a Valorant coach would be doing that
only 2 possibilities: 1. nrg practices remotely, meaning all players and coaches prac from home. they might have wanted to change to irl and strong lives in uk and has a day job too doing something, so he got cut
money isnt an issue, nrg-darkzero ownership is rich as fuck and this val team is their top esports offfering rn, they wouldnt risk fucking anything up
idk if someone was weird enough there r pretty easy ways to find out but im good off that
its on his personal website which is linked to his vlr so it wasn't too hard to find
I'm gonna go on a limb and say that he received a deal from Flyquest to become their Head Coach. In Strong's departure post, it says "mutually agreed" meaning both parties agreed to him leaving. That's the best I got
The departure of Strong has zero sense in it and this is one of the most logical explanations I can think of. Flyquest offered him a position he couldn't refuse.
could also be that NRG didn’t want to work remotely with him anymore, supposedly they were practicing online with 20+ ping before
I mean I wouldn't think ping would have an affect on Strongs ability to coach no?
