proves nothing because LOUD didn't fall off straight after champs, neither did EDG, and so far NRG haven't either
EDG fell off after the first masters, and I didn’t say NRG fell off yet I said “if”
they "fell off" once the meta changed and they let go of a key part of their victory in the first place
when they had s1mon they got 3rd
you’re acting like it’s ONLY the winners that fall off, not like the finalists and third place teams did any better either. the meta naturally changes and new teams adapt to it quicker. it’s just competition
TH kept the same roster and did nothing until they won EWC (doesn’t affect the vct circuit whatsoever and barely scrapes into champs) and a 6th place finish at Paris, PRX with the roster that got 2nd in Champs LA only got top 6 at shanghai and grouped at Champions Seoul. NRG/OPTC had their ups and downs and couldn’t replicate the same success as they did in 2022
