emea-starts in a couple weeks/month (season is down to final 4 and will end in a week/2 weeks)
na-just started so wont be done for a couple months-however you can still sign up as a sub and sub in to teams and maybe even get on one when a team needs a perm replacement (thats how I got on my first team)
No, you dont have to find your own team, you can sign up with any friends in duo, trio, or five stack-but most people sign up solo and the mods make the teams so everything is balanced to maximize the most fun :D
Do people flame others for bad performances, and do you have to be vocal to play? I’m asking because I’m pretty quiet around people I don’t know, but I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone.

being vocal always helps-but just comming as simple as where you see them or how much damage is usually enough. Just dont be non verbal and you will be fine. As for flaming it can happen but toxcity is not encourged and typically punished-I myself am pretty bad and have never had to deal with it
depends on the people, there are some individuals who are known to be toxic but they get punished for it. 98% of people in vcc emea are very chill, at worst theyd get tilted at themselves but rarely last out at the team
hades is correct, tbh most people are pretty chill towards lower ranks, its just some of the higher ranks get a bit toxic when the tourney goes on
not low rank but i feel like my aim doesnt represent the rank i got
and since you get a rating depending on your rank i feel like i will kinda underperform
the only times ive seen people get flamed are either because the people flaming are gen weirdos (who get banned) or when the person who is getting flamed is a weirdo (who gets banned). I have never seen someone being flamed for aim/gameplay outside of friendly banter between friends.
Do teams scrims/ prepare for the matches or people just join when the times comes?

we’ve been getting alot more stricter on toxicity and have handed out bans this season for it (in emea/na)
as for the rating, it’s not about your rank it also takes into account
your tracker score, peak rank, and your performance as the season goes on
some of the most serious teams do-im only aware of one team ever doing it but i havent been here that long only a couple seasons. Most teams just show up that day and play-usually theres some sort of planning in agent role/map ban but even that is team 2 team

Mods draft teams based on the rating system which afaik takes into account current rank, peak rank and changes as the season goes on (I started 24 rated this season and ended up 27 rated by playoffs due to outstanding individual numbers)
You can sign up as duo/trio/5q during the sign-up period as long as your ranks don't go over the average team rating (depends on the quality of the player pool, more higher ranked players means the rating avg per team will go up)
Generally speaking, there isn't a lot of toxicity in VCC (there used to be several times that much in previous seasons) and you aren't going to get flamed unless you're literally crypto throwing, as VCC has a lot of low ranks (someone did that this season and another admitted to trolling during games)
