as an ACTUAL nba fan you are so wrong. the worse stats argument is the worst of the bunch, go look at the actual statistics and sga leads luka in all of them but the main couple box score stats, with higher in every single effeciency stat including TS%, box+-, offensive and defensive ratings, sga scores 30 a night on less shots, im sorry if your a kobe fan (why?) but the shot chucker archetype has been done for years. up until about two weeks ago luka has waddled through the season with streaky shooting and lethargic defense, and before march most wouldnt even say that he was top 5 in mvp. but for some reason a two week stretch of high level basketball gets you the mvp in this league lol, the revisionism that takes place in order to cover up his first 6 months of the year is staggering, by january he was performing at the same level as IDF leader deni avdija and you expect me to believe that he deserves mvp ahahhhaaha, go watch an actual nba game and let me know if luka keeps performing because maybe just maybe he might deserve it.
