she literally has more info now than scan ini wtf are you talking about 😭😭 the only reason you would play scan now is for fade x neon combo or sova drone on specific maps
more info maybe, but a single flash is not gonna tell you how many people are there.
A dart or eye tells you how many people are there, and even if it doesnt because its broken, you still know someone is there just like the flash.
Also, fade still has the same amount of info util since she has 2 dogs and an eye.
if you genuinely think skye is better than sova or fade now because her flashes regenerate once in a round, you are fucking retarded
Might be but Skye becomes an all around jack of all trades init and opens a spot for another agent. You can have info, flash, drone and heal all at once. No reason to have kayo when you can have her, which might be a weaker flash but way more complete. We have yet to see how strong she actually is on proplay now but i wouldn't say shes that worse than scans; Likely she's on par with them and situationally better or worse
you get legit 1-2 flash recharges per round. and 2 flashes isnt even garuanteed, you need the attackers to plant at like 10s left in the round to even hope to get a flash with 15s left on spike
Sova or fade is still gonna be heavy meta.
Skye is only gonna be played for comfort or if teams dont need scans
It all depends on the team playstyle. I see Sova and Fade being still heavily picked, but we might see Skye popping up more in some maps
you do realize that the reason yoru was so strong is because he fulfilled both roles of flash ini and duelist agents like this are broken we saw this in 2023 as well last time skye had recharge she had over 60% pickrate and scan combined had around 40%
by opting kayo your forced to give up a duelist or viper
by opting scan your forced to give up a flash or duelist
there will still be teams that play scan on some maps but skye will be dominant you can come back to this in a few months
Recharge isnt even a problem cause she has 1 default and 1 that can be bought which means you will likely have at least 3 flashes that gives info per round most of the time. Thats more powerful and more util than any other flash init and the same amount as any scan info you can have on fade/sova. Shes def strong now

Also when she last had recharge, it was around 30-45s i dont really remember, but a lot shorter than 60 full seconds.
With this new timer, she is getting max 3 flashes a round unless you are playing against fnatic.
Also, solo scan is still good. The most popular haven comp, the GenG comp is literally solo sova with KJ, omen, viper, and neon.
flashes arent needed for anything as long as you work the map correctly and arent playing fast floods or rushes.
skye will be played only on bind, split, and MAYBE fracture.
For the other maps, they are too big to have a skye and will opt for a sova or fade. And if they want flashes, they will pick kayo
she's still strong for the same reasons she was then she's arguably stronger now than then because of the recharge timer being increased it hurts scans more than her. flashless comps historically aren't meta there are a few outliers (fnc lotus and geng haven) but they are hard to replicate because they are limited in approach. some teams will 100% do what your saying but the ones who win will not be playing it
still, cant imagine shes meta on haven, pearl, or lotus over fade/sova on those maps. she can prob replace yoru on other maps too
she will be standard by london might not be meta on every map but she will have above 50% pickrate.
