as much as 9wntr's takes being absolutely horrendous at times I actually agree with his take that riot is in their 2019-2021 overwatch balancing era (start of overwatch's downfall btw)
I don't think it'll be that bad though... Maybe we do just need to get used to it.
I feel like the game has already been progressing to that CS type of state where people are a lot more intentional about their movement tech and gunfight techniques, rather than having so many utility crutches
Well it's just doubling down on the off-season overhaul. Yoru having the utility volume of "old valorant" is what made him so overutilized in Santiago meta
We might see more phoenix now because of his 2 flashes, his ever reliable ult, and a very reliable fire wall.
just make it that he can be more agile/flexible without changing the core ability, i do not get why they make him the clunkiest
- no slowed down movement while charging stun so you can jumpspot like omen/sova
- can now right click to change flash on floor/wall/any surface
It might be salvageable if they can meaningfully buff sentinels but like can they not accept it was a shit idea and move on
