i never see him in top 10 duelist rankings oat or stuff like that
hes the guy on prx that you can blame when times are tough, hes a good but not "great" player
No he didn't
Only in 2024 for a few months and even then he was 2nd best player on prx in shanghai
Plus highest rated player on prx in 2025 and had great performance in toronto which they've won
And that's not even talking about pre 2024 when everyone used to glaze him and he was in top 10 players itw contention and people were super sad about him leaving prx
"And that's not even talking about pre 2024 when everyone used to glaze him and he was in top 10 players itw contention and people were super sad about him leaving prx" in 2024, sure you mightve, its 2026 and nobody rates this guy in their top 10 as hes just not, lol, maybe at best he places 10th. they were only sad about him leaving prx as hes always been on the team, no relevance to what was said
and to say he only caused role issues in 2024 for a few months is a big understatement lol, he had a .91 rating at champs 24 which they bombed out of, and i mean sure, if you wanna go ACS wise he was the 2nd best player at shanghai, but the dude placed 5-6th with fut, had an agent pool of raze reyna and sage which his team had to fill around since he couldnt properly flex onto other duelist roles
and in the 25 seasons kickoff he was on his usual agents, raze and phoenix and they looked terrible, sure, they won toronto, and looked good at champs, but thats 2/3rds of a season out of many and ignores when i said "across the years" implying the problems getting better, , to say this guy hasnt caused role problems for prx is a huge misunderstanding, his weak agent pool led to weird comps being formed around them which led to a PREVIOUS lack consistent international results
Your comment about people being sad about him leaving prx only cause he was on the team for a long time just shows that you havent watched vct before or watched it very casually
He used to be one of the best players itw in 2022 and 2023
Then for some of 2024 and a little bit of 2025 he had role issues but still played decent enough except for champs
And then he fixed his issue and his agent pool was good enough for what prx needed and won toronto whilst having really great performance and for the test of 2025 was the best PRX player on the team
And in 2026 he still looks like a pretty good player
How is he not considered a great player? I dont think he has to be in top 10 players to be considered great, but he has really good legacy and longevity and a lot of teams would like to have him and he's still a very good player up to this day
lol? youre using it as an argument as to why hes a top duelist, people werent sad he left cause he was a top duelist they were sad because he was paperrex
nobody is denying he was good in 22 and 23, theyre saying hes not in the top duelist debate because hes not a top duelist, he cant flex to other duelists, and hes only good at raze/phoenix.
for some of 2024? you mean like 2/3rds of the year where they were bombing out of champs and competing with fut for 6th place, all while he was locking reyna and sage because he play anything else, 2025 paperrex was good, and im not denying it (after kickoff), but the reason they were good was because they had a dedicated scan player join the team and had a yoru meta which assisted their comps alot. yoru + scan allowed them to play practically anyother agent they wanted since all "roles" were filled.
hes not great, hes good, he doesnt have anything that makes him standout from someone like aspas or derke, how can you be a great player if youre not top 10 in your role, lol
lol? youre using it as an argument as to why hes a top duelist,
Bro what 😭 why are you making up things ive never said. People were also sad because he used to be one of the best players itw and carried prx a lot of times + without him prx would most likely become way worse as a team
He just doesn't have a dedicated role so it's hard to rank him as a top 10 player at some role but it's because of how prx works as a team he's still a great player and u r naming literal 2 of the best players itw. U dont have to be as good as aspas to be considered a great player what are you on
if thats not what youre talking about why add it to the end of "top 10 players in the world" it quite literally has no relevance so i have to assume youre saying it was for that reason
youre literally arguing my point for me "he doesnt have a dedicated role so its hard to rank him as a top 10 player at some role", if hes not top 10 in any role, how is he "easily" a great player lol, he has a dedicated role, its raze and phoenix, both of which he spams on every possible map. i didnt say you had to be as good as aspas to be considered a great player, i said you had to standout, like aspas does. jing doesnt standout and barely fits in Lol
You don't have to standout like aspas does to be considered a great player
You just have to consistently perform at top level for years which jinggg has done as he had great 2022 2023 and 2025 and even then he was forced to take a huge break in 2024 because of military stuff.
And about top 10 itw players I was just simply saying that he used to be one of the best players before 2024(not in 1 role but just overall) which just helps my point that he is a great player, I didnt mean it as in he's a top 10 duelist players but just overall all things considered he's a great player
He's really not. You could say that 2-3 years ago. At this point in the game's development, his small agent pool is a significant issue that most other teams/players don't have. Paper Rex still do just fine but it's not something a lot of other teams would be able to still succeed with. Also, he just makes really dumb decisions sometimes, more so than his teammates.
Issue which was a problem only for a few months which he has fixed and after that he won toronto whilst putting up great performance and being relatively flexible
I don't think you know what the word "flexible" means. Because it most certainly is not jinggg. Not now, nor last year.
Switching between 3 roles is way harder rather than playing multiple agents of the same role and his agent pool is good enough for what prx needs
It's not small and hasn't been issue for a long time for PRX. Only was issue in some of 2024
Uhh no. Sorry but you just don't know what you're talking about. Dude plays like 3 agents. His agent pool IS SMALL and will always be an issue for his team. His team will always need to prep, plan and work around that limited pool when other great duelist players are far more flexible.
Paper Rex are great but they could be greater if he was a more well-rounded player. Being a fanboy doesn't mean you have to turn your brain off and pretend that your favorite player isn't flawed.
prx never play standardised comps and thats what their playstyle revolves around i don't see an issue on his raze phoenix neon sage omen agent pool
nobody wants them to have standardised comps because then they lose their whole gimmick lol
e.g his agent pool is perfectly fine to play normal bind comps and they still choose to play weird off meta comps
Neon?? I think he legitimately has only been on that agent a single digit number of times. Anyway, the discussion was why you don't see him on top 10 lists. His inflexibility, along with other things, is why.
looked fine on neon against AG the other day the only thing i would say is his movement which isn't even that bad he's not inflexible
So argue with op then instead of replying to my comment which has nothing to do with him being a top 10 duelist
Im only arguing that he's a great player
3 agents??
He could play brim phx jett raze omen sags some of tejo/cypher/dl and played neon recently
The only reason he doesn't play some of the agents is simply because prx doesnt need him to, not because he can't
Also im not even a prx fan
only duelist he knows how to play is raze, why would he ever be in a top 10 duelist list?
equivalent of putting yay in a top 10 sentinel list because he can play chamber well
because to be one of the best you don’t necessarily need to play every agent, quality is different from flexibility
People switched up on him after monyet situation because people have weird bias
Also people used to blame him for prx losses cause he used to only play raze
But nowadays people who hate on him are ragebaiting
jinggg was supposed to quit or take a break for a year or 2 to take military service and monyet was his replacement
but he only got to play with them shortly for like 1 or 2 events and as soon as jing avoided military service they took him back in and benched monyet
the foreskin that can't play initiator to save his life? s0m0th0ng breach? Look how good they become when a dedicated init joins their team.
Foresaken is not flexible by nature. He plays a lot of roles because he's forced
He is the best Raze, but not close to the best duelists. His other duelist agents are actually passable (notably Phoenix, less so Neon Jett and Reyna for the oldies), but not as complete as someone like Mada or Jawgemo is.
I agree that he should be at least in the top 10, considering mechanics, longevity, and achievements. Even Aspas is pretty much limited in terms of agent pool, but everyone kept calling him the goat still despite not achieving much in recent times.
aspas can play every entry duelist in the game, the only meta duelist that he can't play is yoru. what is this stupid comparison?
Was in the context of a player being held back from rankings because of agent pools. I agree that because Aspas can be up there, Jinggg has the argument to at least be in the top 10. And "can play entry duelist" is big spectrum when you don't even entry or meh at it.
i think jinggg is at least top 10 for his long-term consistency.
and about aspas, he just doesn’t play yoru… his best agent is jett but there isn’t any other that’s bad (aside from yoru which he played one match). his waylay at champions was very good, his raze is ok, his neon is also ok
