Marteen played great, but I feel like Gentle Mates underperformed overall.
Starxo is the IGL so it's understandable, but he was actually cooking. Minny didn’t play well, and Glyph also didn’t perform like he usually does even though he’s normally one of their most consistent players.
Also, Bipo went negative every game and his FK/FD was terrible. I understand taking space but it shows that he struggles to trade or take fights properly when he’s dying first every round.
I think Marteen is absolutely incredible and deserves all his praise, but can we stop saying he got no help when the team is literally designed for him to get insane numbers
The team being built around Marteen doesn’t take away from how good he is. Plenty of teams build around their star player, but not everyone can consistently deliver the way he does.
again my point wasn't that Marteen isn't that good, he has already more than proved that he is, it was moreso that you expect so much more from everyone else when their priority is to help Marteen do what he does best. Other than that, I agree they underperformed as a team
