NS vs Gentle Mates
I’m not sure who will win this one, but I’m leaning slightly toward NS. It’s really close. They’ve got arguably the best Neon in the world and Marteen, who is currently the best Yoru player. I think Marteen will have a great tournament and pull off some crazy plays with teammates who can actually support his style "Cough, KC". At the same time, Dambi has a stacked roster around him as well. Both teams actually have something going for them. I like both Dambi and Marteen, but I’ll say NS 2–1 Gentle Mates.
All Gamers vs G2
The only team that looks weak to me is All Gamers. China only has one team that made it through, and they didn’t have to play through the Swiss Stage. On top of that, they picked G2, which is rough. Their choice was either Gentle Mates or G2, and NS pick Gentle Mates first. I think overall they got fked. G2 2–0 All Gamers
FURIA vs PRX
This might look like an easy match, but it’s not that simple. FURIA beat G2, and PRX demolished G2 just a day ago. Still, PRX have way more experience, while FURIA lack experience at the international level. I’ll go with PRX 2–1 FURIA.
BBL vs NRG
BBL have one of the strangest playstyles I’ve ever seen — it looks completely ranked, but somehow it works. It makes sense in a way since they came up through Premier and won all the way through Tier 2, which is insane. Now they’re facing NRG, who looked much more better than other teams. It’s hard to call, but I trust BBL to pull out something weird again. BBL 2–1 NRG.
