I agree that seed 1 teams should have an advantage but the fact they have to wait so long to play a team that will have played 3 matches already, idk it's giving toronto vibes (yes i know it's the same exact format) and I remember Valyn complain about that as well.

i don't quite remember but last toronto masters before the tournament began there were big balance changes like Tejo nerf or something that nuke many team strats and comps which imo benefitted teams in swiss stage because they could test new meta first

This argument is stupid; the advantage is having to win LESS matches to win the tournament. Not only that, but you get free VODs on all the teams you can potentially play. There's genuinely no way to make it "fairer" without completely tipping the scale against the group stage teams.

I feel like for Santiago, Teams in Swiss Stage will gain more reps and practice and experience into the meta.
The teams that make it to Playoffs from Swiss will come out stronger than the previous 4 teams already in Playoffs imo.

Also the fact that 1st seeds from Kickoffs only have experience against teams from their own region only, and not against teams from other regions.
