im ngl they should have just let it ride instead of saying anything cuz the match up draws were good for both gameplay and viewership
the thing is they cannot ignore it because the way the group draw functions is clearly outlined in the rulebook for Santiago so they would basically be ignoring their own rules and im sure some team or coach or bunch of fans would call them out about it if ignored
sure but now teams have like less than 12 hours to actually prep who they might be playing

all teams affected will have another chance to play, and even so you’d need to play the 4 teams already in playoffs as well
i know that, its just the fans would complain, imagine g2 get t1 and whatever side loses fans will just complain of the draw
also, suppose tl and m8 get drawn in the first slot, they would have only 12 hours or so to prepare for each other won't reduce the quality of the game

literally what is the point of redrawing it? they messed it up on stage but its totally random either way (unless its not, leo "rigged" faria)
only reason would be is to keep it fair as it wasnt the format the teams and viewers were told. i think its not necessary but oh well
who is it unfair to? the probability of any matchup happening is the same with both types of drawing
a team might feel robbed because the drawing didnt follow the rules that was intially stated and call the drawing a rig
