jawg is a very mechanically capable player and throughout the majority of his time on g2 he has been used more as a space taking resource rather than in such a way where he can get a lot of kills or have insane stats. its only recently that they started playing double duelist and the game on pearl against NRG where he played phoenix is a good example of how he can thrive with those resources. also if u watched any of EG in 2024 you would see how insane he is when a team is far more structured around letting him hypercarry. hope this helps <3 😁
In 2024 he wasn’t hypercarrying anything. He played some of his worst Valorant ever in 2024 and apart from some sick highlights, was an incredibly inconsistent fragger who rarely took over games

Common denominator is that they’ve picked up shit duelists every time since 2024. Leaf on duelist looked perfectly fine in early 2024. Tex looked his best ever in 2023. Saya looked his best ever in 2022.
They picked up who they wanted to and kicked who they wanted. At some point its their fault too. Late 25 they had Aspas, Zekken and Keznit expiring contract just to name a few
Never said it wasn’t their fault, just attacking the idea that it’s the system’s fault for the duelists not fragging out
Its not the system fault entirely but it is part of the problem. Blaming only the duelist is ignoring the truth that most of the time this core disappears on big international matches
They “disappear” cuz every round starts 4v5 with how hard their duelists sell, not the other way around.
I think at this point the smartest move would be making leaf duelist he was very good at it, then add seven for jawgemo and demon1 for babybay

I love my boys, but they're stuck forever. They might do better in other systems or something.
I think Valyn and Leaf have to stay, maybe even Trent because we know he can do a fantastic initiator role. But Jawgemo, his gameplay has deteriorated from what he used to be, just like what we saw from Boostio.
