From tariks stream we for sure know:

Ewok coach and John igl guaranteed
Kyu dropped
Reduxx is locked for the roster
Cortezia is likely to stay
Narrate's spot is in question

I dont think they should drop Narrate. Narrate should stay and be scan initiator, he is too good of a talent to just let go. Remember last year after kickoff, narrate was always the 2nd guy after zekken by performance and even carrying in some matches. He should definitely stay.

My roster suggestion is :

Reduxx yoru
Narrate scan
Cortezia senti/viper
John smokes
+1 cracked duelist. Idk who that should be right now but thats what the trials are for.

For everyone who is saying Jonahp, I dont think this roster has a spot for him, john and jonah play basically the same roles.

Yeah but coach has changed so I expect the identity change as well.
Even if they dont go double duelist they need to sign a cracked aimer if john is gonna igl. I dont think bringing in role players like Jonah and inspire is gonna work, we already saw this last year with Zellsis, in the most important games john and zellsis couldnt get more than 5 kills. So they need someone who can just shoot especially in this meta

imho jonahp would be good for them if they were to cook up something niche, but if they really want to go the route of double duel, just wait out stage 1 until they can get nightz

the way SEN run double initiator makes them easier to be read imo because its very default and nothing special about it helps them (kirya also agrees with me on this :3)

i still feel running double duelist is better. if they are running double initiator id rather see them have breach since without it they play like submissive bitches w/ no initiative at all, as bad as breach is, sen are prob one of the only teams benefitting from it

but yeah double duel is prolly better than double ini, but in my mind maybe they could put someone on maybe chamber instead of duelist if they had jonah considering he could legit play anything they may need

like reduxx dash in and cortezia on chamber, then narrate ini with jonah on viper, then john on smokes cuz honestly he looked hella good on the omen and astra

kirya stray is crazy. he might hate SEN but when he’s serious hes pretty analytically smart trust

but yea agreed there. chamber can definitely help out a lot and I def can see cortezia popping off on it

people forget narrate was elite on raze. The best teams have shown that you don’t need waylay to win games, and if the meta stays stagnant for stage 1 i’d think SEN with n4rrate on raze/neon entry with somebody (reduxx?) on yoru. depends on what changes they make
map pool changes also definitely favor SEN, their corrode and abyss were bad and they’ve always been solid on lotus. also a distinct raze and neon map which are who narrate is most comfy on
part of me feels like narrate would be good on yoru too given his hybrid initiator playstyle. but sen is hard to figure out, you have two players that don’t have distinct agent identities

the thing with narrate on yoru is i feel he plays a bit.. too aggressive?
i remember when he played yoru vs g2 in stage 2 playoffs and seems like he always entered way too early before his team could throw util or anything to help him out. that by itself isnt bad, but not good either

but aside from that, I agree for sure. hopefully ewok makes some magic happen and turns the team around. rrq was pretty decent on haven which is SENs current perma so hopefully they can fix that up, as well as their overall map pool

really hoping they dont drop n4rrate since he still showed promise when he was off waylay, but it does come down to rob and ewoks decision now, and seemed like n4rrate was only kaplans project

SEN Smoke, reduxx goes waylay

have never watched them play but from what everyone is saying and from stats ive seen smoke deserves t1 and if they want to go with the cracked rookie thing then this is a great pickup
reduxx’s alltime is just a shit ton of dive duelists, surely he can get used to it

The thing with the current meta it doesn't really suit double duelists that well, honestly. Teams that stuck with double duelist during Kick Off did not do well. An example being MIBR losing 3 B05's in a row because of their team comps.

I do think adding JonahP would boost team chemistry and add some fire in beating G2. N4rrate and John want to beat G2 badly, and Jonah wants revenge.

But I realistically don't see N4rrate sticking on SEN. He was there because Kap saw potential in him as a player and thought he could handle his emotions. No disrespect to N4rrate, but he's a lot to handle, and if his head is not in the ga,me then why keep him around for other better players that are available, like Boni or Alvinboy (shoutout Alvin)

many teams in santiago saw success because of them primarily running double duelist though

MIBR losing 3 bo5s had more to do with how dysfunctional they were in their defensive setups as evident on split vs NRG as well as a lack of identity which is fair given that they didn’t have much prac time

if i remember the stats correctly, literally every team in santiago played double duelist on all but one map, if not every map
mibr actually only played double duelist on 3 out of 6 maps they showed, and they looked much better on double duelist than without
