Some people are still talking about Jemkin so here is what really happened

NS being late 20 minutes and not penalized.
Apparently the org told NS that they will be forfeited if they do not arrive by 4:25, but they arrived at 4:20, so the game just started without penalties. I personally think they should be penalized because they were late, but RRQ was not told by anyone about this, and I understand their frustration and misunderstanding.
T1 smoking and not penalized, while RRQ was penalized.
Apparently, the stadium is on the 14th floor, and the elevator in that building is so slow that players cannot make it in time if they go outside for a smoke, probably causing players to secretly smoke inside the bathroom. It is most likely that RRQ saw T1 players smoke in the bathroom, and they probably did too. T1 definitely needs to be fined. Regardless of rules and what org says, it is illegal in Korea to smoke/vape inside of a building. It is also a double standard that T1 was not penalized and RRQ was, but probably T1 was not caught and RRQ got caught imo. It is quite abnormal to just let T1 go cuz they are a Korean team bc smoking inside itself is illegal and it would create a controversy among korean viewers as well.
PRX remaking lobby without letting RRQ know - well, super account does not have Veto during the finals? What the hell is wrong with the org?
Headset problems and Korean casters being too loud
Headset was criticized many times, and from what I know meteor was the first one to call it out when he was in GenG. Pacific changed their headsets this year, and apparently it is a considered a downgrade. However, you can’t block out the sound perfectly no matter what, so eh. The org needs to move the stadium bc it is a shitty stadium without soundproof equipments.
Tbh I think Jemkin called this out after all the finals to not make an excuse for themselves for losing. They did say Prx played better. If they wanted to, they could have just exploited all this before finals matches to make noise, but RRQ didn’t. It is more of criticizing the org for poor planning, unfair penalties and shitty scheduling. I dont think he meant to snipe other players. But it just came out that way after losing 3 BO5s which is quite brutal.

rrq vs ns- rrq choked
rrq vs t1- t1 was way too good and locked in
rrq vs prx- prx played good and rrq was tired after 8 maps.
if they wouldve gotten rest then maybe they wouldve took it map 5 and even win?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn't PRX also play a few high-stakes, do-or-die games? Even if they weren't all five-mappers, it’s still hectic considering who they were up against. You’ve got GE with Patmen and Frost keen for revenge, DRX—who absolutely clobbered them in Toronto—and DFM, with their whole roster looking like absolute monsters ready to scoff the rest of APAC.

Just to add, that game against NS didn't even look like a choke because they just got straight-up bodied in three maps: Bind, Haven, and Breeze. They just got outplayed.

That's exactly right.

I'm not saying this to Gemkin, but I'm tired of being caught up in inferiority and whining like a kid to KR every time. Because can't admit they lose because they're bad at games.

Regardless of whether you taste Techpose or not, I would like to hold it in Southeast Asia or pay for it in Japan.

If someone hears it, they will think that Korea wants to hold this competition in kr lol

i saw the time stamp of the match between rrq and ns the game started exactly 30 mins after t1 vs dfm ended +they already completed the map picks on time the game started on time then what was blud waffling about

exactly bro just by reporting which direction the opponent team is moving or revealing last player in 1v1 in 1 or 2 rounds are enough to nuke the team that got exposed.

We are quite familiar with crowd cheat and now this shit

I dont want to falsely accuse but players like stax, rb and mako get a ton of kills through smokes, I always believed it was just simply good gamesense and I still do think it, but it should be investigated nonetheless

It can be serious on certain degree if popular team not enjoyed by PC setting and loses.
Maybe minor bro but dev should fixed this so all team can enjoyed same treatment.
