VCT matches should be every single day because modern society has clearly evolved past the need for patience, anticipation, or grass touching, and Valorant esports is the only stable structure holding my daily routine together. When there is no VCT match, time becomes meaningless, productivity drops, and I am forced to confront my own thoughts, which is dangerous. If professional players can scrim eight hours a day, there is no logical reason they cannot also play a perfectly broadcasted, high stakes international match daily for my personal entertainment. Athletes in traditional sports get off days, but esports players sit down for a living, which means rest is optional and mostly a mindset issue.
Additionally, having VCT every day would significantly improve the global economy. Think about it. More matches means more watch time, which means more ads, which means more money circulating, which would probably lower inflation somehow. Students would develop better time management skills by scheduling homework around map picks. Office workers would be more motivated knowing there is a Haven game waiting for them after their lunch break. Entire friend groups would stop arguing because instead of talking about feelings, they could argue about whether a coach threw the veto.
Competitive integrity would also improve because if teams played every day, they would simply adapt faster. No more excuses about jet lag, burnout, or meta shifts. If the meta changes on Tuesday, you learn it by Wednesday because you are playing on stage Thursday. That is real evolution. Weak teams would be filtered out naturally, strong teams would become stronger, and viewers would finally get the scientifically accurate answer to which roster is actually good instead of who peaked at the right event.
Finally, VCT every day would solve the biggest issue in esports, which is that my mood should not be allowed to depend on an off season. If Riot truly cared about the community, they would understand that no match day is a personal attack. Balance patches can wait. Player health can be discussed later. What matters is that at any given moment, somewhere in the world, two teams are loading into Agent Select so I can say “this comp is questionable” and feel alive again.
