both teams definitely have high ceilings for growth throughout the year. here’s a breakdown comparing their potential:
leviatan:
• sato: already one of the best duelists in the region, insane mechanics, crazy gamesense, could literally become the new aspas if his gamesense improves even more
• blowz: rookie initiator, mechanically insane, good utility usage, just needs to improve his gamesense which will come with tier 1 adaptation
• spike: flex/support, maybe the best mechanically in the region alongside mazino, smart utility usage, extremely intelligent, can also play duelist if needed (plus has the best neon in the world)
• neon: insane awp definitely on aspas’ level, mechanically even better than sato, very high gamesense for such a young player, possibly the rookie with the highest potential in the region
• kiNgg: igl with fragging ability, very experienced (top 3 at champions and americas winner), one of the best in the region
100 thieves (100t):
• timotino: possibly top 3 waylay player worldwide, insane mechanics, unselfish, great timings, very smart
• vora: up-and-coming igl, good mechanics, proven clutch player, solid fragger
• cryo: top 3 chamber in the region, insane mechanics, one of the best in the league, needs to work on agent pool and consistency
• asuna: good flex, decent mechanics, versatile player who can fill any role and perform well in some games
• bang: insane mechanics, great anchor, clutch player, excellent gamesense, has everything to evolve into the best controller in the region
my take:
both teams have room to grow enough to eventually take the spot of g2 and nrg in the long run, not necessarily in split 1 but definitely by split 2 and into 2027 if their core stays together and they develop as expected.
and imo, leviatan still has everything to be the number 1 team in americas.
