Two different PCs:

I5-7600 and a 1070

7800X3D and a 4070 Super

Same latency spikes as seen in these two videos:

Old PC: https://youtu.be/p_B1YpspzeE?si=Y3N1HXyJZkbgMirJ

Spikes occur at 8s and 1:07s

New PC: https://youtu.be/3br4C6LOGok?si=g6zO7qEQoFvcSrQB

Spikes occur at 2s and 47s

I am getting Game Latency (CPU) spikes, Present Latency (CPU) spikes, and Game to Render Latency (CPU + GPU) spikes across two different PC's.

May I please ask someone to also test these graphs and see if they are also getting these spikes or not? Otherwise I am not sure what the cause could be! I am getting text chat delay and stutters in the game that could be related to these spikes. It's not fun to play the game anymore with these spikes, and I'm about to give up playing Val. I do not experience stutters when I play CS2.

Game latency spikes are caused by network congestion (bufferbloat), background apps (updates, streaming), Wi-Fi interference, ISP issues (throttling, bad routing), server load, or local hardware/driver problems, leading to sudden lag as data gets queued or delayed, often from saturated bandwidth or overloaded network gear
