It’s actually in akihabara mb. Called Gyukatsu Ichinisan, good thing I have it saved cuz it would be a shame if I couldn’t remember the name. Easily one of the best meals I had on that trip, be weary of the line tho (had to wait at least 2 hours)
Np. Also make sure you try matcha soft serve (or any soft serve for that matter) when you’re in Kyoto. Probably the best I’ve ever had
universal studios japan, been to usj and uss, liked usj more the nintendo world there was great
also go up tokyo skytree that was a great experience for me, very nice view
Ngl half the fun of Japan is just wondering around and finding cool niche places
Recently found a shorts chanel called Japan eats, his shorts are fun and he is doing a coco spicy level challenge so try it maybe.
Try level 20 coco curry and post your review here in vlr but apparently it's too hot and no flavor at that level.
Even I watch his videos lol the latest funny was the groudon and kyogre donuts
Kyoto: Watch ZatsuTabi - That’s Journey - Episode 4, its an anime literally about travelling across Japan. Episode 4 is all about Kyoto.
Osaka: Food place would be Namba Okonomiyaki Ajinoya Honten,
Tokyo:
Also for food this is the channel you need: https://www.youtube.com/@JapanbyFood/videos
I will look to my maps to see the places I liked, there were a sweets place near kyoto's bamboo forest and a place u can try like 20 kinds of sake (i forgot if this was even in kansai/kanto tho), and if ur short on time u can try various ramens from different places in the "ramen street" in kyoto station like 5th/6th floor, but like the guy at the bottom said, make the trip longer, 8 days to 4 cities means if you visit the obvious attractions you will have time for absolutely nothing else, if possible make use of all 15 days we're given as visa free but i understand if budgets a problem, imo if u wanna keep the length u shd drop one or two of the cities
the sweets shop is oimatsu arashiyama, very traditional, when i went there there was a group of local ladies gossipping so i figure its authentic - grab a hojicha and pick whatever sweets you want
unfortunately apparently the sake place is in hokkaido
Go to Suga shrine to experience the real-life places from the movie Kimi no nawa (Your Name)
not solo trip, travelling with my friends but i'll try to separate from the group for a bit to try soapland!
I recommend you extend the length of your trip since youre visting 4 places. I did 3 recently in 9 days and I wish I had made the trip at least 2 weeks long because I didnt get to stay in one of the cities as much.
take a trip down to kamakura to see the slam dunk crossing + the beach from bunny girl senpai/kaoru hana it’s so peak
