Brother it was a nothingburger of a season and the ending like except for the Elevens fake death part , everything was ass , the show used to be so good in the first few seasons. And they botched it so hard, it's like they wrote an entire season just to make some extra bucks , every season was better than this one even season 2 was. The worst ever climax of all time , they defeat vecna in a nothingburger way . Also they took 4 years to make this shit. It's criminal

For people who haven't watched the series of this season. I advice u to not watch it , it's ass.

they rushed it so bad man. I don’t know what they were doing in 3 years to make it feel this rushed. Like how’s the vecna fight so short and also vecnas backstory and the mystery wasn’t even explained in s5 like what was the point . Duffer brothers had no idea to end this. You would only like epilogue if you actually liked all the seasons

Vecna was hyped up very well and the whole lore with him and the mind flayer was really good in season 4 the mystery about them was what made s4 really good imo. I don’t think that was cash grab it was just poor execution and missed opportunity when we don’t get any pay off with that . I really wanted to know the cave scene with more context and the school play scene like why did they show it if it didn’t have any significance to the villain

I think they may have gone way too overboard with the shooting and thus had to cut parts to reduce the time which now makes it look bad ,s4 was really goated tho, it set up the stage for such a great season 5 but they couldn't deliver

this is what i was saying about volume 2, they coulda cut the scenes of them overexplaining scenes that just happened and squeezed in a henry backstory + mindflayer final boss reveal

at least i got to see the shadow monster in a 5 sec memory scene. It makes no sense how a bunch of kids and eleven beat an eldritch god but im just going to assume that its because vecna got impaled -> spider monster dies but mindflayer is still alive
