that spot is undodgable for low sens merchant. But I can dodge that because I use high sens.

phoenix is in a similar spot as Reyna. if you have a good player that you think will be comfortable with his tools (I.e. Avez, Jinggg, QcK apparently), then you can try it, but there will always be a better option unless he gets a rework. Phoenix is a good agent on paper, but the problem is that so many agents just do his job better. You want an entry that can help cover your team while also having some selfish capabilities? Neon can do that better with stuns and her wall. You want fast flashes and a good molly? Kay/o can do that for you. The only thing he really gives to a team is his ult which is amazing in the right circumstances. I feel that if his pickrate Were to rise, you'd see him on a Yoru/sova/cypher/Omen comp, a team that already has the util a team needs and can afford to slot phoenix in, the same way T1 made the Iso comp.
the reason he saw so much play in 2020-2021 was because he was the only one with that kind of job, kayo/neon didnt exist yet so if you wanted their value phoenix was your only choice.
