The ult definitely doesn't bring the value it used to. But regardless I think Raze is very underrated atm, it's better than neon and is better individually in a solo duelist comp than waylay
Not really it's a meta/ teams being dumb problem.
Neon is perma picked on sunset when it clearly shouldn't, and yoru+waylay being so strong makes raze kinda disappear off some maps she is good at (Split/Bind/ Lotus when it comes back)
But yes the map pool is not very raze oriented atm
Hard disagree tbh, waylay might be the best solo duelist atm, it’s really good for comboing and capitalizing off utility compared to raze and it’s very noncommittal which non double duelist comps prefer
I'll be honest I think it's mostly good because teams haven't put the time to learn how to play against it for the most part. It's not that good on attack because if your one singular burst of util doesn't work out you have nothing else, which isn't a problem for raze. But because it's very easy to make it work atm you get excessive value from it.
And we don't see solo waylay that much tbf, apart from a few teams on corrode it is largely played alongside yoru/neon
