Realizing that when you’ve grown up you cant enjoy this type of movies anymore because you simply cant get yourself horrified/scared by it anymore and that takes over 90% of the enjoyment of this typa movies

Because i’ve watched the walking dead that’s said to be like one of the best series , for like 3 eps and it’s so fucking boring
And i also watched korean All of us are dead and they’re also boring
more of a traditional type of zombie movie, slow pace zombies hoards and alot of drama between characters with story telling. a zombie movie i enjoyed was world war z, sucks they cut loads from the final product and didnt really follow the book
I honestly enjoyed how they depicted the zombies in that movie, it made them a way bigger threat based on how agressive they were.
world war z was imo one of the better zombie movies that came out that year. another good one is train to busan, or the netflix show black summer, most producers just take a basic depiction of what a zombie is and copy a preexisting show
should probably just drop it then, cuz walking dead is arguably at its best in the first few seasons.
as a korean, I need you to know that korean tv and movies are generally a decade or so behind the west in terms of trends, narratives, cliches, whats cringe or not, etc. also koreans never know how to wrap things up so movie endings and shows veer off into random inexplicable fantasies and conundrums (example: All of Us are Dead wrapping up with a supersoldier zombie rooftop bonfire)
koreans are usually best in sad/grim/gritty genres, definitely not sci fi and action
oh no i definitely had fun watching it haha
whenever i get to visit my parents, we get a month of netflix and binge random stuff like this
Yes im a fan of romance Korean dramas , Our beloved summer is my most fav dramas ever
dude i just remembered one more zombie thing
there was a korean zombie show called Kingdom in 2019 that was pretty good. the zombies run, and it takes place in ancient times, like when koreans were wearing robes and shit. might be worth a watch, at least for the first few episodes of the outbreak
you're supposed to watch the zombie movies where they run dude, not slop like the walking dead
actually now that I think about it, of the good zombie movies that arent comedy, theres only World War Z (brad pitt running around) and Train to Busan (zombies on a train)
if youre looking for suggestions for newer zombie stuff, do NOT watch 28 Years Later it was so fucking bad. critics tried to cope by calling it arthouse
sean of the dead is my fav zombie breakout movie bc its just making fun of the whole spiel the entire time
