he tries comming in japanese every time he plays yoru on stage but the only words he knows but doesn’t understand are the ones he picked up watching high school anime romcoms so when you translate his comms it sounds like he’s confessing his love for a senior student every so often

I think until this past year, people always played yoru like a normal duelist (basically just playing it like Jett) instead of pseudo initiator. Both forsaken and Tenz understood that early so they were the only ones who looked good on it. Now everyone understands the playstyle
