top 2 + top 4 + top 8 is more consistent than both fnatic and prx since both of these missed a whole ass tournament
im talking about beat the team that you are competing against at a crucial moment, not in the offseason or during the pacific vct group stage when your opponent already has a guaranteed playoff slot

exactly G2 would win most consistent team of the year award, NOT best team of the year award. That's what winning champs trophy is all about. Think of it like olympic gold medals or Football World Cup (once every 4 year event), but Valorant champs is once a year. Simply put it as "best is no 1"
G2 never reach the top of internationals. No1 at internationals.

If "BEST" team of the year goes to team that doesn't have symbol of being the best (proof of trophy achievement), it's just an asterisk achievement out of sympathy (consistency).

logically it doesnt mean much, 1st place you would probably agree is not far from 2nd right? if a team has 6 2nd places but another one had 1 single 1st place and then didnt qualify for the other 6 tournaments, would the team that won be 1st just cause they achieved the trophy? logically what youre saying doesnt make sense the argument is totally null

G2 not even in top 3, they make finals in bangkok and were just mid at internationals for the rest. Why the hell would they be no.1. Even fnatic made 2 finals and you put them at 5 ?????
