fun fact 2: there exists a hole in russia, the Kola Superdeep Borehole, with a maximum true vertical depth of 12.2km (40k ft/7.6mi), the deepest hole in the world. the hole was stated to have been made to study the deep parts of the baltic shield, seismic activities, and the study of the deep earth crust (physical/chemical composition of the lower crust). the hole was estimated to have penetrated through a third of the continental crust. the site consists of 3 holes, each ending slightly deeper than the last, with the first hole ending 11.6km down (they finished it as far as the wanted), the second ending at 12.0km deep due to a malfunction/breakdown, and the third ending at 12.2km below ground due to another breakdown.

(also ppl think that pterodactyls are dinosaurs, but they were actually just flying reptiles)
(by me) to add to this, all flying mesozoic-era creatures are not dinosaurs, but are also flying reptiles. the same thing goes for all fully aquatic prehistoric animals (such as mosasaurus), they are not dinosaurs but aquatic reptiles.
