is g2 signing seven? or is it just babybay??
cuz jawgemo, seven, trent, Valyn, babybay actually sounds kinda nice. Or maybe a 6/7 man roster jawgemo, seven, trent, Valyn, JonahP, babybay??

They already singed leaf tho no? Maybe babybay is temp for rbhg then seven for main
Im hoping G2 wants to win a trophy this year and babybay is only for the redbull event if he's for the entire year of 2026 it's another year with no trophy
Had multiple prospects in T2 and T1 but instead we get a 30 year old caster that hasn't done anything good in valorant other than sit on chamber stage 2 with an outlaw and op and farm stats.
I imagine it's for the vibes mostly but seems odd
Have you stopped to think for a second that maybe G2 trialed a bunch of other players and picked the best one?
If you watch him play, you would see that he understands macro, his role, micro, etc. While he doesn't have that young cracked aim anymore, he's still an insane aimer that has really good crosshair placement and positioning.
For example, I love Demon1. He's an amazing shooter with insane mechanics that is super fun to watch. Was at champs in LA when they won it all. Super deserved. If Demon1 had Babybay's understanding of the game (Or JonahP or anyone else on G2), he would probably be the best player to ever play. Repeat: I really like Demon1, Yay and a lot of the other players.
Seven is also a really good young player who definitely deserves to be in tier 1. Has that young cracked aim, good understanding of the game, and is super coachable and just a good person. Someone pick this kid up, he's insane.
Trying to understand why the guy is getting so much hate when at one point he and Dicey on Faze were terrorizing teams. He used to be one of the most feared players that teams game planned around to make sure he didn't drop 30 kills a map on them.
You don't like him? I get it, but no reason to spread unnecessary hate about someone you actually don't know much about. Why was the caster to player storyline even a thing? Did you know that awhile back, he almost played for the Guard but stayed loyal to Faze (because unlike a lot of people he's actually a loyal guy). Did you know he was almost on NRG, 100T and EG? Riot didn't pick Faze for franchising which definitely changed the trajectory of his career. What you don't know is that even with all of that, multiple times, he was one step away from making his debut in franchising.
I get hate culture is a thing - he's old, he was a caster, he's having fun, he's actually doing the things I wish I were doing. How about we actually celebrate when someone is getting to live out their dream. Bro has been a pro gamer since 15 or whatever and it's amazing that guys like him, Zellsis and Nismo are still doing it. Live and laugh a little, life isn't all that bad.
The only thing I fear is that his S2 performance was a one time wonder. The only other thing is, I guess, he is barely an upgrade.
I guess time will tell how he would do/what he brings to the team.
Have you stopped to think for a second that maybe G2 trialed a bunch of other players and picked the best one?
Well no shit for their brain maybe but what I am telling you is they picked the worse pick possible out of any options available at the moment at this point in time it's he said she said but wait and see they aren't going to do shit I'll agree with babybay has a good understanding of the game but he isn't the best at his role or any of his agents or awping or rifling he is mid at them all which makes it comical that they made this pick after wanting to win something. Which is why I said it has to be for the vibes
LMAO I watch since beta Faze were never the subject of being feared dicey was amazing and babybay was cracked for his time but they never won anything other than first strike.
The rest of the shit you're saying is fake glaze to a guy who hasn't done shit and maybe he was loyal in the past but why would I celebrate them fucking over a Top tier player of multiple years and helped them win all regionals and nearly bangkok to babybay you can glaze him all you want but the guy had a good performance chamber awping in stage 2 against bum teams.
Hate for him not really I wanted him to go to EG or something and actually prove himself but not get thrown on a top tier team while jonahp gets lefted with nothing so no I won't celebrate babybay living his dream while another persons got destroyed and no I won't celebrate babybay getting another chance at being mediocre while seven, alvinboy and other T2 kids have proved themselves for the big stage unlike babybay.
He by far won't be the worst performing player of VCT as it's impossible when you have amazing players around you but I and many others are upset by the fact that someone had to get fucked over and T2 guys didn't get the chance they deserve and G2 will go and have a worse year than this one.
But we will see
Let's use your logic:
The "bum teams" you mentioned that Babybay played in stage 2? Let's see, some of the teams are Sentinels (pretty insane team), C9 and 100T, pretty decent teams, and NRG (this was the last game of stage 2 before they went to champs and won a world championship). Those by no means are bum teams. I forgot but wasn't he 1st or 2nd in stage 2 in stats? You know a lot of those timings that he took on Chamber or plays that he made, those were decisions that he made? Do you know that G2 is actually one of the hardest systems to play in because it's so fluid and demanding? Didn't quite work out for Net, Tex and Icy to name a few (they sure didn't have the same stats).
You say G2 is a top tier team where Babybay gets the chance to play and other tier 2 players don't. You say he is taking a slot from deserving tier 2 players. That's exactly it - most tier 2 players cannot understand G2 macro or play at their level.
Let's use Alvinboy as an example since you brought him up. While Alvinboy has a lot of potential and a bright future ahead, he is in no way ready to play on G2. He might be able to play on EG where everything is scripted but he does not have a full understanding of macro, especially at the level the G2 guys play at. They play a much more fluid system with only certain things being scripted out and it requires an understanding of the game at the absolute highest level. Let's ignore the fact that Alvinboy hasn't been through the tier 1 ringer and you can see him get nervous in a lot of pressure situations. Alvinboy is not even close to there yet, just as many other tier 1 pros would not be able to understand or play in their system. A lot of other tier1 teams, play a more scripted style of play (EG, SEN, FNC) which is easier to understand and play with the IGL dictating a lot more of the game.
I'm rooting for a lot of the tier 2 players just like you are. I'm dying to see Seven play in tier 1, as well as GMD and others, but it is pretty disrespectful to say that Babybay doesn't deserver a shot over other people. I don't think you even understand the level of play of the G2 guys. The system is extremely high skilled and difficult to play in - it might be the most demanding system because of how fluid and adaptive it is.
That's what makes JonahP so good. He understands the game at the highest level and no doubt will do well wherever he goes next. If JonahP were to go, you have few options that really get it and Babybay is one of those guys. Alvinboy would have no shot of understanding and playing in the G2 system at this point in his career. In addition to G2, VIT played this style successfully during kickoff last year (before internal issues). You know how T1 won Bangkok? They took VIT's fluid style of play and it worked for them during the second half of Bangkok. I was there in Bangkok. Another team that plays quite an advanced style is NRG. Bonkar is an amazing coach.
In reality, you have it backwards. Young tier 2 talent should be going to teams like EG where they can get tier 1 experience against the best in the world while playing in a more scripted and friendly system. Teams like G2 require much more smart and experienced players due to the reasons I mentioned above. Josh and Bonkar are 2 of the best, if not the best 2 coaches in the world for a reason and have advanced systems that go with that. Team decisions are not made lightly and there are a lot of factors that go into things.
Will things work out in the end? Who knows - there are too many variables and outside factors that go into a season. One thing is for sure, the people making the decisions are smarter and much more informed than you and I.
TLDR
broski i'm not reading allat. i'm happy or sorry for you.
Make all the shit you want Im not going to discuss why babybay is a shit pickup and G2 will have the worse year they have had ever Ill let the results show for themselves you keep glazing babybay
