G2 really tried to go after cortezia cuz leaf was supposedly gonna go to nrg, but cortezia prioritized sentinels since he was in advanced talks, so then nrg went after keiko and g2 kept leaf. g2 just wanted cortezia to replace leaf, this actually came out in povoleri and other papers a few weeks ago
