2025 was weird. On paper they had a decent roster but in practice it was atrocious. No main OP user, clashing playstyles, weird read on the meta, weird roles shuffles…
I mean they meta read at start of the season was good with them being few of the team using tejo correctly. But then later on it went horrible and stale while teams adapted.
I think it was around their match with C9 stage 2 playoffs that I just thought that this team is not it
I think the playstyles just clashed too much to reach the level of the 2024 roster
Small issues all across the board, which snowballed into inconsistent performances
They had no sova/fade player
johnqts and n4rrates were atrocious on any initiator but tejo (n4rrates aim made up for it but still he wasnt at sacys level util wise)
zekken meshed well with n4rrates on omen but we only saw that vs TL and XLG
And that game vs NRG broke them and exposed the fact that they shut down mentally once they lose the upperhand
But i'm pretty optimistic with what I saw today
