his machanics are nowhere near spritiz or even akeman..

His stats are mid no matter the roles. EDG not even going for zhe is dumb.

NObody always gonna get igl pass. And smoggy form dipped this year..
But his aim is solid for smokes role.. Jieni was doing good on deadlock & shit.
But you can't expect him to perform at high level in duelist role when neon is kinda off meta..
Not going after zhe at all is very dumb, but to be fair, Jieni has shown the willingness to adapt and grow.
Also saying that his mechanics aren't as good as SpiritZ1 is kinda wild, SpiritZ1 lowkey has top 5 if not top 3 raw mechanics in CN (or maybe higher).

I mean no zhe is a shame but how would they fit him into the roster though, do you think he's as flexible as jieni? I haven't watched that much RA so idrk

EDG's biggest problem isn't their players, it's their complete lack of understanding of the meta and a good mid-round plan (mostly thanks to Muggle), Autumn isn't the best coach but at least understands the game more

However, he has an alright Viper as well and could probably allow KK to play other agents like Waylay and whatever second duelist option he wishes. Also, if you just ignore the Grand Finals, zhe looked insane.
Guess it's hard to say cause meta might change a lot, I do think Yoru will probably stay tho
With the current nerfs, we're going to be looking at mainly double duelist and double smokes (Viper+other smoker).
EDG is suffering for big org crutch like prx sen.. Its quite difficult to drop players without bad pr & fans going apeshit..
And All other chinese teams are yet to build that kinda fanbase. They can make shit ton of roster moves with getting backlash.

i watch most cn games. Jieni7 is decent but other cn teams are just gettting better with roster moves alone.
i guess edg don't want bad pr after s1mon. But jieni7 on duelist is not good enough for edg.

I mean no one saw S1mon as a great move either until he started getting way better over time, he had haters just like Jieni did. Jieni improvement has been really fast, you kinda forget that players can get better. If EDG didn't pick up these rookies and give em a chance we wouldnt have even had S1mon champ
EDG scouting team IS very strange though, like comparatively how is RA consistently finding and producing these crazy players is beyond me.
