yup, lots of people were confused about this because of how governor previously played in Talon and Apeks but WU’s manager confirmed that all 5 players are indeed students there

he probably was seeking a plan b to his future while also giving it another try. Wintrop seems like heaven sent to players persuing esports and college. He is a smart guy else his name wouldnt be Governor
he's currently a predental student.
he didn't previously have a degree, so having one will help his chances in the future, and being at winthrop also gives him a chance to play competitively while having a nice fallback plan forming.
i mean if he gets to secure a better future while also pursuing his passion with job security then who wouldn’t?
