I think it's a horrible approach to the games power creep...
There are countless things that need changes (Judge, Harbor, possibly Odin, Jett (shes the worst actual duelist in the game live with it), etc), but utility, after the Tejo changes and whatnot, doesn't need major changes.
How about we actually individually balance agents like Kay/O, who's basically useless on all maps except ascent bind and maybe corrode, in which he hasnt really been seeing play anyways anymore, because the meta we had (pre-) champs was perfect except for a few agents like kayo harbor and skye, agents that definitly need changes to be viable again in competitive play.
Utility that is used to deny peeks/clear space and such is extremely important to this game, due to the importance of holding angles and the advantages that come with it. And if we change cooldowns, we need to address other issues or reevaluate util without said cooldowns too.
I'm not the guy to say this would kill the game, because it wouldn't but I see more dangers than advantages in this change...
THE GAME WAS SO GOOD THE PAST FEW WEEKS BALANCE WISE. JUST ADJUST OBVIOUSLY WEAK AGENTS SUCH AS HABOB, MAYBE ADD A PLACEBO 5 SECS COOLDOWN TO SOME INITIATORS AND REMOVE 5 SECS FROM SOME TOO...
Im not a fan of this change. I don't mind the state of utility in this game and if it was as horrible as it sometimes is portrayed by streamers pros and others, this is not the right way to change that. THE PROBLEM EVERYONE AND THEIR MOM IS CRYING ABOUT IS VISUAL ISSUES AND UTIL DUMPS (which i dont mind, its a part of the game you made lol). If you change cooldowns, you still get dumped and isolated onsite. That process will only be repeatable once or twice per round from this change on instead of twice to three times.
Not the right way to address this stuff please sign me riot ill fix the game pls pls pls pls
