Seems like everyone wants people to only be able to use pistols and rifles. I always hear people complain about odin, judge, and op. I find that boring and like the variety of viable weapons

Buff the bucky, ares and judge back to its original state then.
Brawk is fun to watch because it's new. People didn't realize you could be that good with the Odin.
If everyone practices, you could get get awful buy rounds with like 5 or 6 odins, everyone spamming. Not fun to watch at all.
that would never happen. It would make takes too hard. If the odin ever gets that strong i could agree to a nerf but everyone is already mad at having 1 or 2 odin on a buy right now.
i would argue that the rifle meta is boring when 10 players in the lobby buy it on rounds. we need the balance and x factor of a couple ops, judges, and odins thrown into the mix

You clearly have not felt the joy of wallbang old ascent b main... better than sex tbh
because even if you aren't brawk level good at it you still have to change how you play maps just to get around it. Old ascent was like this, lotus and corrode are still like this where even a bum like boaster holding m1 from tree on defence can just win a round on his own
This is where I believe the issue lies, but instead of directly nerfing the weapon, nerf penetration damage, or remove more penetrable walls. The only nerf I could see that the community wants is to remove the Odins hard penetration, but that would kill the gun.
