Who is the most successful team in 2025?
- PRX:
- 3rd Stage 1
- 1st Stage 2
- 1st Master Toronto
- 4th EWC
- 4th Champions Paris
- FNC:
- 1st Stage 1
- 2nd EWC
- 2nd Master Toronto
- 1st/2nd Champions Paris
Who is the most successful team in 2025?
if they dont win an event this year, they are less successful than PRX objectively
How? Being the runner ups for two events in a row would immediately place them as similar successfulness, if you want to mark it in terms of earnings then FNC would be higher
a trophy is infinitely better than earnings for the players and coaches. for the org, earnings matter more sure, but it says most successful "team", not org
A trophy is going to be better than earnings but it isn't always going to be better than placements. Like in most sports having very high placements will still place you high in terms of successfulness of the year, that's why I said they will be "basically even" depending on how you want to argue which tournament is more important.
yeah champs is obviously the most prestigious event of the year, but in my eyes, a masters win is slightly better than placing 2nd at champs.
and with all the other placements (excluding EWC since its EWC), I could def see an arguement for fnatic since they also placed 2nd in a masters, but I think a trophy is just more success than a placement, because pure placements would mean sentinels had a more successful year than T1 this year which is an absurd statement.
Many people said that TH had a better year in 2024 than Sentinels even though Sentinels won Madrid and TH got top 2 at the next two events. The same would apply to PRX and FNC if you are going off that logic.
Then they were wrong? TH in 2024 were good, but not more successful than SEN.
Also I think people say that because SEN only won the first masters of the season (8 teams was considered mickey mouse)
Yeah and a team who was no1 once and never placed podium again also cannot be the no1 of the year lol
even if they didnt win next they are still no1. they defeated all teams in the tournament
dawg what does that even mean? I don't even know what tournament we are referring to now...
If you want an example take F1 as an example, if a driver got 2nd place for 2 races b2b they would have basically the same amount of points as a person who won a GP and then placed 4th. Being the best at one event doesn't mean you're the best overall.
except this is not f1 and nobody cares if u made grand finals a few times
u need to win a trophy to be in the conversation for best team in this year
consistency is a factor but not the biggest factor
FNC already beat PRX twice after Toronto so there's no way PRX are better or more successful than FNC
#2 Masters
#2 Champions
#2 EWC is considered more successful than
(PRX)
#1 Masters
#4 Champs
#4 EWC
Anyways we are winning Champs so no one cares about a Fluke Masters win
