On sunday before champs GF riot will do a panel talking about VCT future, expansion, and new formats. Maybe they will tease franchising 2nd cycle or address the rumours of a possible Americas separation?

if they do seperate americas into NA/SA, what teams would be in SA because i dont rly know any south american teams besides loud, lev, furia, 2g and exolos

I believe it depends on the number of teams but potential candidates are Lev - Kru - 9z - Shinden - Isurus - Loud - Furia - MIBR - 2G - Pain - Red Canids - Vivo Keyd - Team Solid - LOS
Probably Stellae, RED Canids, Los Grandes, 9z, Shinden, Team Solid, and 6K(Even though Mexico is North America, they are a LATAM team for some reason, it actually doesn't make sense). Also if new slots tier 1 open up Glorys, RETA and All Knights might rejoin.
LATAM is a cultural group for every country on America that speaks a variation of Latin (AKA Spanish - Portuguese - French) so it does make sense. Not to be confused with South and North America which is a geographical separation
if they decrease the number of partner teams to 8 I would bet on those teams
NA: 100T, 6K, C9, EG, EXL, G2, NRG, SEN (I see other teams like FLY and SR taking the place of teams like C9 and EG)
SA: FÚR, KRU, LEV, LOUD, MIBR, PNG, RED, VKS (if PNG and VKS are interested in investing in the game obviously)
Yeah if u don't know before toronto grand finals they said something about making some brutal changes and doing some brutal experimentation with vct for the next year and I assume it will be Abt that .
Hopeful they gonna talk Abt t2
yeah but i think it will be only in 2027 with 2026 being the last year in the current format
