Did you mean that the teams will play in their own sub-regions and the best teams from each sub-region will compete in a playoff for a spot in international events?

Well, if that's the case, I believe it would break the meaning of a franchise (giving stable work to players and organizations)

ok, fair

I see a world that FlyQuest takes EG or C9 spot too, no?

Loud won the Champions while playing in Brazil.

Kru qualified for all the Champions but hasn't advanced past the group stage since 2021.

Last year, Lev competed for and won titles with only two South American players on its roster (one of them being the Aspas who carried the entire team), and this year they'll have Sato to carry them again.

in place of nrg, who says no?

This would result in 6 regions with 48 teams in total (keeping it as it is today).

For the first Masters of the year, there would be 2 from the Americas (1 from each conference), 2 from Asia (1 from each conference), 2 from EMEA, and 2 from China (totaling 8 teams, as is the current format).

For the second Masters of the year, there would be 2 from each region (totaling 12 teams, as is the current format).

And for the Champions, it would be similar to Masters 1, but with 4 teams from the Americas, Asia, China, and EMEA.

that is, if they don't increase the number of teams present at international events and distribute them better across regions (obviously)

They could split apac into 2 regions, one with the kr, jp, hk, tw and macao teams and the other with the teams from the other apac sub-regions and split the americas too

reducing the number of teams in each region to 8, we would have 6 regions with 48 teams in total (keeping it as it is today)

8 teams in each league

6 BR (FÚR, LOUD, MIBR, PNG, RED, VKS) 2 LAS (KRU, LEV)
6 NA (100T, C9, EG, G2, NRG, SEN) 2 LAN (6K, EXL)

I still think they will split apac too and reduce the number of teams to 8 in each region, having 6 regions with a total of 48 teams (keeping it as it is today)

i think the brazilian and latam teams (like 9z, exl, shinden, stellae) will come better and more prepared than NA teams for ascension

aspas will probably go to apac next year

LOUD win champions playing in Brazil

posted 1 week ago

eu acho que seria assim:

Sul: FUR, KRU, LEV, LOUD, MIBR, PNG, RED, VKS
Norte: 100T, C9, EXL, G2, FLY, SR, SEN, SIX

RED VKS / FLY SR entrariam como convidados no primeiro ano e disputariam sua vaga no final do ano com os times do tier 2, parecido como é feito no LOL hoje em dia

8 partner team

AMER: FLY, G2, KRU, LEV, LOUD, MIBR, SEN, SR
CN: BLG, DRG, EDG, FPX, RA, WBO, WOL, XLG
EMEA: FLCN, FNC, FUT, KC, TH, MOUZ, NAVI, VP
PAC: BME, DFM, GEN, PRX, RRQ, T1, TLN, ZETA

but to be honest i think riot will create more regions, like dividing America into South and North with 8 teams, 2 of which are coming from Ascension
