To be the greatest of all time, it is a prerequisite to be the greatest at a minimum of one point in time. If you were not, you don't have a case.
No statistical pyrotechnics or psychobabble can change this.
Given that chronicle was never the best player in the world at any discernible point in time, he does not meet the minimum criteria to be the Greatest across all time

What further disqualifies him is that, in a very similar vein, to be the greatest at any point in time, it is a prerequisite to be the greatest on your own team at any period of time. He has yet to achieve this, which is a prerequisite for the prerequisite

Lets say you played your entire career for the San Antonio Spurs, and were never the best player on the Spurs for any period of time. You cannot be the GOAT of basketball. This is because to be in consideration for that, you have to at least be the best player in the NBA at some point in time. Because you were not even the best player on the Spurs, you can't be the best player in the NBA.
This is why Dirk Nowitzki is a greater player than Manu Ginobili, even though Manu Ginobili has more championships. It doesn't even matter if he had 7 championships like Robert Horry. Dirk Nowitzki was the best player in the world at a point in time, and neither Manu nor Horry were (let alone on their teams), and thus Dirk is greater than both of them.
