I think the reason why Pacific doesnt do good, is because they collectively overate double duelist + Sentinal archetype over doble controller (Doble ctrl + doble duel would be okay). Collective intoxication over doble duel is the fail reason

no it's just because they have shit decision making (talking abt you T1 and DRX)
its not about overate double duelist. It's more suited/natural for pacific players over other region players. Internationals all about regional playstyle matchups. If it works for one, might not work for another kind of thing.
I disagree, Korea where almost the inventor of double controller comp on unsuspected map like Breeze.
They peak when they rely on gameplay, being good individually is a poor excuse, to excuse having a weak gameplan.
which is preciesly why geng don't play double duelist bc it just doesn't fit their playstyle, that's not true for T1 on the other hand, same with DRX to some extent
why couldn't you understand it for DRX? They're comfortable with it roles wise (actually it's the best thing possible in terms of roles for them bc of freeing) t0rmi has good ideas with it. They have no reason not to run it
I wouldn't say great but he is good at it yes, it's just that Flashback is a great secondary duelist and that in theory KJ/Cypher are freeing's best agents (and flashabck hasn't been too reliable on senti this year)
I like 2 duel, 2 ctrl, I'm waiting to see next year format to go deep in the datas buuuut, it seems it's the best archetype overtime

G2 pick double smoke vs FRX no double smoke : Win G2
Both take no double smoke : Win DRX
DRX pick double smoke but not G2 : For the moment it's look like a stomp but a come back can always happen.
If things doesnt change then its perfect for my narrative
pacific, or at least prx, are probably the most studied, anti-stratted team rn and other pacific teams are likely to take pages out of prx's book
