but iirc it has to do with ibai not holding onto their contract of streaming koi games and promoting
Ibai didn't respect a specific close of KOI's contract about him having the obligation to stream the KOI games. This clause can only exist in the contract of a franchised team, and specifically only made sense for KOI's contract. Which is why it can't happen to another team (at least as of rn) and can definitely not happen to an ascension team
guard situation was nothing to do with anything on riots end, it was the management not signing the contract in time

Their owner is a streamer iirc, they should be abled to make it if they win ascension (they wont)
