on a scale of 1-10 how hard is it for a beginner (never played any hero shooters)

very beginner friendly imo, the skill cap is way lower compared to a game like val you just need a good mental to climb

it looks complicated to interpret when i watch clips

If you played valorant maybe a 3. Its the hero shooter with the easiest mechanics and most bulshit broken at the same time. There are like three characters you can use that you arent even required to aim

You will improve WAY quicker than in valo/cs (game is just less punishing per design and mistakes are more obvious) and the "high level" is way lower (newer game + less players + no real competitive scene)
