That's basically what they do in almost every eSports they enter in. But I heard riot needed them to disclose some information about ownership or something like that so falcons couldn't eventer franchising at least for league. I don't really know if it's true tho. Lot of misinformation in internet nowadays.

yes this is true actually falcons went to ascension last year but faced the same issues when going through riots process for the ascension orgs so they were forced to sell to the ultimates to take their spot
